Silicone Gripper Elastic
We carry 2 mostly used widths as below of Silicone Gripper Elastic with different characteristics, for varying uses, in varied colours. Use our Gripper Elastic in any garment that requires the elastic to stay put. The elastic features a strip of silicone on the backside. The silicone runs the entire length of the elastic and sticks to the skin. The silicone strip keeps any area that it comes into contact with in place, helping to prevent slipping.
And the based elastic is knitted woven type there because it's won't be narrow when stretchable that is suitable for anti-slip use in the cycling shorts or jersey.
Widths and Colours Available:
The Gripper Elastic is available in 2 widths:
3/4" (20mm) - this 3/4" wide elastic is custom made for us, to our specifications. We wanted to give our customers a high quality gripper elastic. A silicone bead 6mm is applied as a centre strip over our Soft Band Elastic and is latex-free. This elastic has a plush back, use for strapless bras or on any garment that requires a non-slip elastic. This particular width feature a delicate picot edge. Available in White and Black.
1″ (25 mm) - our 1″ wide elastic has a silicone bead 6mm applied as a centre strip over regular polyester and rubber elastic. This elastic is used for strapless bras or any garment that requires the elastic to stay put. It is easy to zig-zag on the edges. This elastic features plain edges. Some customers use it inside the waistband of trousers to keep the shirt tucked inside. Available in White and Black.
How to Use:
Use our Silicone Gripper Elastic in any garment that could experience slipping. Our customers use this elastic to keep strapless bras, shoulder straps, dance costumes, and any garment that requires elastic to stay put from slipping. The elastic is easy to use, simply use a zig-zag stitch to apply.
